Best race yet.

I go out to a somewhat empty parking lot every Friday night where some other imports show up. We sit around and talk, checking out cars, etc. then go off to an empty street to race. We get out to this street, park, and then see who wants to race who. I spot an 95-96 Eclipse NT and say I want to run that, so the guy agrees and we line up. I keep the RPMs at about 2000, and he drops his hands. I feather it out quickly enough to jump off the line without spinning the tires and put a car and a half on him instantly. I hit 6900 RPMs and shift into 2nd and start pulling even more on him. I see his lights get farther away, hit 6900 again and shift into 3rd and I'm approaching the stoplight fast so I flash my hazards and shut her down. I ended with about 5 or 6 cars on him. I was satisfied.

I get back feeling arrogant and an Accord that beat me last Friday wants to go at it. I accept and we line up. His car is a four door and doesn't have as many mods as mine, but he's slightly lighter and can get into higher RPMs. I figure he may beat me again, but not by much. This time I put it up somewhere between 2500 and 3000 RPMs to see if I can't launch quicker this time. The middle-man drops his arms and I feather it out quickly again, spinning tires but get a decent launch. I pull a car on him and reel it out all the way to 7000 RPMs. I make a quick shift into 2nd and pull another half car on him. I hit 5000 RPMs and he starts pulling me in, by the top of the 3rd he's at my door. I shift and he pulls up to my wheels. We run out of room and I stil lhave a nose on him so I flash the hazards and make a U turn back to the parking lot. I'm feeling really arrogant by now, but we head out back to the parking lot to chill some more before we head home.

Overall I'm happy with my car's performance last night. Slow as it may be, I still love her lol.

Cliffnotes: Beat a 95-96 Eclipse with a bad driver, and beat one of my bigger rivals (Accord).

Re: Best race yet.

I bet if you had more room that Accord would have taken you. Considering that you were barely entering what I could guess around 95-100 mph. I say after that you would have been walked. But that's my opinion.

1- Yeah we topped out at about 90.

2- Your point? You sound like someone trying to make excuses for why he lost.

Making escuses for what exactly? It wasn't my race, I was stating my opinion. You gotta problem with my opinion? Deal with it. You don't like what I have to say? Deal with it. You seem to have something stuck up your ass. Pretty much everytime I post a thread or make a post, you seem to be there to be the pessimist that thinks he's all that and all knowing. You don't like me, take it up with a PM. You want to start shit with me in an open forum and I'll see to it that you are put in your place by me and only me! Comprende? Understand? Capiche? You can't take the fact that you would have been walked by the Accord past 90 mph, then go bitch about it to your friends/family/whoever gives a rats ass.

I can ignore your threads from now on if you wish. Truthfully their not worth reading. I was simply making a comment because this is an open forum. I'm entitled to give my opinion if I please. Anyway, you can do the same for me. But I don't ever want to hear your shit again! Got it? I'm done with you. Anymore problems, you take it up with me through a PM!

Yeah, he would have taken me had we had a longer stretch of road. I don't care to admit that because I know it to be true. You can't argue against facts.
And I have no problems with your opinion, but the comment was unnecessary.
I never post like I am the "all-knowing." I rarely post at all, so I don't see what the fuck you're talking about.
Put me in my place how? "Dude you ran out of road or he probably would've beaten you." That's not much of an opinion. It sounds a lot closer to an excuse IMO (and the only reason I can think of for you doing so is because you too drive a Honduh).

And you're right, I don't like you. I had no problem with you until you got an engine swap in your car and felt so special and cool about it that you won't tell anyone what it is (last time I was here anyway). You're not the only one with a swap in a Honduh, and you're not the first to get one. You're not special. And I'd appreciate it if you'd stay off my threads, you act like a fucking kid IMO.

/rant off.

Last time I checked I never once felt special about getting a new motor in my car. Sure it was great, low miles, it was all free, yada yada yada. And I mentioned numerous times that it wasn't worth talking about. Go back and read it for yourself over and over again until it sticks in your head that I didn't really care, and it wasn't that great. I don't know how many times I could have explained that over and over and over again. Everyone (well most) here seems to enjoy my company and what I have to say. So what's the deal? I joke with everyone here, no one has ever had a problem with me except you. Jealous because I get more attention with one comment than all of your threads combined? Ah, that's too bad. Deal with it.

Tell me how that wasn't an opinion? I'm dying to know how that couldn't have been expressed as one's opinion. You're right, you are not "all knowing". You as dumb as a sack of grass. I act like a kid? Yes, I recall the last time you came here you got all upset in my thread because I wouldn't tell you what I have. It was like I held out my hands and said "Guess which hand the candy is in and you get it." Except you didn't know a damn thing about it and got pissed off for no reason at all. Move one, and I'll gladly stay out of your threads. You do the same for me as I stated earlier. Thank you and have a happy life.

Are you kidding me? Me get jealous because I don't spend my life on here posting shit? I don't care if people don't give me comments, this is the internet. You making a statement like that tells me that you have issues making friends IRL, so you resort to doing it on a message board to make yourself feel better.

Upset? Not even close. I just thought it was stupid that you get a swap then won't tell anyone what it is. What's the point? What about hiding the engine in your car is satisfying? I'm just curious here, beacuse personally I think it's stupid. Especially if you say it's not even something worth bragging about. If you were hiding a 4g63 or SR20 or some shit in there maybe, but with something shitty I don't...I don't get it.

EDIT: You're completely right Red. Sorry bud

So back on topic. In the end, yes you would have been walked by the Accord.
