another electrical problem

ok, i was stupid!!! I was checking the bolt on my alternator and i accidently made contact with the wire on the alternator and it shot out sparks. Now it wont start or even click and no lights on the dash. Is it a wire from my alternator to my starter thats fried or what did i do?

thanx
