ECU 92 Eagle Talon Tsi
I just went and removed the ecu from my 1992 eagle talon tsi. I noticed that it has a E931 eprom on it. Does that mean this is not the stock ecu? I am the second owner, so I was planning on changing the capacitors. If this is a newer ecu should I change the capacitors anyway?
-Vincent Edit Well I just went to this site http://simon.chi.il.us/~steve/Auto/DSM/ECUID.html On it it shows my ecu MD166260 with a E931 eprom with it. So I am guessing this still could be the stock ecu that came with the car?? Is there anyway to identify how old this ecu actually is? -Vincent Edit This is the site that gave me the information on the capacitors. http://www.tmo.com/howto/ecu1g/caps.htm The board I have is a tiny bit different from the one shown on that page. -Vincent Last edited by cathode26; 04-15-2005 at 09:19 PM. |
