Power Window problem 97' SC2

My driver's side power window only works of a morning when it is cool outside. As soon as the weather warms up, the driver side window stops functioning. I can drive all day with it not working and park the car, come out the next morning and it works fine. Luckily I haven't gotten stuck with the window down. I leave them up when I'm at work. Would this problem be a bad module in the fuse box? Any ideas?

Module = Relay,
What year/model...?
Fuses are good, motors are good, switches are good all work sometimes...
It is a possibility, with a bad relay (bad solder), it wont work when it heats up, because the cheap solder expands and cracks, then as it cools it contracts and makes contact

First, I don't have power windows, so I'm not sure if you have a second one, but check the number on the top of the relay, and if there is another relay in the fuse panel with the same number on it, you can temporarily switch them to see if it fixes the problem

Second, if you suspect the relay or don't have a second relay that matches, and if your willing to try it....remove the relay and carefully pull the housing off. you should see the back side of the circuit board with all the solder points. if you have a soldering iron and some solder...just desolder then resolder all the points you see and see if it helps. it's worth a shot IF the relay is goin out.

Yeah, I ment to say relay, the word just didn't come to me when I was typing. Anyway, the passenger side and driver side windows use the same relay according to the diagram on the fuse panel. I'd think it would almost have to be in the relay because it works perfect when everything is cool and after the car either sets in the sun on a warm day or after you drive awhile you get enough heat from the floor (exhaust, tranny, etc.) to make everything down there warm to the touch, then it doesn't work. It must have a dual circuit in the relay because the passenger side always works fine. It's hard to believe there is a short, bad motor, or switch problem because it works perfect every morning. I'm going to just check prices on relays before I tear into the relay itself. It can't be to much. Any one with more ideas?

If you're going to replace the relay, before you go buy your new one, try resoldering it yourself, because you'll just throw it away when you get the new one anyway...

Yes, my wiring diagram shows the same thing one relay for both
But it is a 5 point relay, so I dont think that it has a seperate internal relay for both of them, I think that it just controls power to the switches, which are like relays to the motor...
If it is only the drivers side then it could also be a problem with the express down circuitry, or more likely the switch's soldering... It can have the same problem, try switching the passenger side switch with the drivers side, to see if it works...
There are also sprays you can buy that are non-flammable and make circuits/relays COLD, which can be very helpful in IDing a problem...

And the heat made it stop working, was it a soldered connection?
If yes was the answer to one or both of these then I completely agree that this could be the problem, its all in line in the same system,
