b16a shift linkage and axles question

I was wondering, will the 90-93 integra shift linkage and axles work on the b16 swap?

Also i was wonderign do you need anything thing else for the wiring harness than just the mpfi (si)?

the axles will work but the linkage has to be modified. and you also need the vtec wires!!

Re: b16a shift linkage and axles question

yeah linkage from a teggy wont work, you have to lengthen it and i mate a d to a b or something, i just bought a premade one since i dont have access to a welder.

and if your car is a si you have to wire in vtec seloniod, knock sensor, 2nd 02 and oil pressure sensor.

Re: b16a shift linkage and axles question

you can use hte 90-93 teg shift linkage but it needs to be modified to fit, a simple cut and weld. axles, well if you get the complete axle set with halfshaft then yes it will fit. but some b16 halfshafts are longer or shorter so it kidna depends

Re: b16a shift linkage and axles question

90-93 Teg axels work well, but if your looking for a shift linkage, go to hasport. They make and sell them along with mounts axels and other crap....

Re: b16a shift linkage and axles question

remember, you need the complete axle set, not just the axles themselve, but also the intermediate shaft. without knowing what kind of intermediate shaft came with your b16, we cant tell you waht axles will fit. thats why you need the whole complete setup

Re: b16a shift linkage and axles question

Axles 90-93 teg

For the shiftlinkage
Shorten the 90-93 Integra extension rod 3inches(one with the huge washer that holds it on)
Use your stock 88-91 shift rod(one you stick pin through)

Viola! Cheap shiftlinkage Tested random linkage at junkyard and this combo worked out great! ?I currently have it installed on my civc like this!

Re: b16a shift linkage and axles question

you guys keep saying 90-93 axles, but your not telling him to buy the complete set including intermediate shaft. to most people axles are just the driveshafts.
