85 lesabre dies when going into drive

well i just got done rebuilding the carb. and hooking back up all the vacuum lines (took awhile.. so many of them) and the car starts and idles fine in park, but it dies when it goes into drive unless you give it gas. i was looking at vacuum diagrams and think it might have something to do with the Idle Load Compensator, but that thing is hooked up right according to the diagram. Any ideas? thanks!
