Unhappy crazy window/electrical problem

My 94 GPSE has had a slow moving driver window for months. Then one day it went down and wouldn't go up. Naturally I suspected the motor. I took it to a hole-in-the-wall place that has done OK work at a good price for me in the past. They said they installed a new motor, got the driver window to work, but now the passenger doesn't, and that the switches must be bad, but they got another from a junkyard and it worked the same, and new one is $100+. I said well, ok, I can live with that. When I picked it up, they said maybe a circuit baord is bad and "they're tricky", and it was clear they were in over their heads. I know the other 3 windows and switches worked when I took it in, but now the driver's window goes down with the correct switch but only goes up using the switch on the driver's door for the passenger window! The passenger window doesn't work at all even using the switch on the passenger door. The right rear window works fine. The left rear doesn't work at all (from the driver door switch or it's own switch). To top it off, the instrument panel lights are out now too, and I didn't find any bad fuses! So I took it in with 1 window not working, and get it back with that one working weirdly, and 2 others not working, and no panel lights. I'm afraid to take it back worried what else they might screw up.
Does anybody have any clues to what they heck they did, and how to fix it??

Had same trouble with my GTX. Turned out to be switch. Took it apart. Works great.

Same with my back windows.
Window went down and wouldn't go back up.
And it was the switches had corroded contacts.
This happens alot more offten if you never use the windows.
