wheels for q45?

Question. What are the biggest or wides wheels I can use on my 95 q45? Also, I believe the car has bolt pattern 5x4.5". Is there anything equivalent in mm? I'd appreciate any input.

Thumbs up

well I just put some 245 x 40 ZR 18 x 8" and it works very well, I heard that you can go as wide as 275.

I've obtained some RE - Amemiya 3 piece wheels (intende for late model RX7s) with the rears being 17x9.5 with 42 offset. The rubber is255/40.
With these on there is less than an inch of clearance between the inside of the wheel and the suspension.
I havn't put them on yet due to refurbing the wheels with a good polish and powdercoat.
The car should look pretty riced out after that.
How large do you intend on going?
There is a couple of Q45s on www.cardomain.com with 20"s.

Q45 Whees

The important things are to maintain the correct offset and bolt spacing. As it happens, any wheel for any Infiniti will fit any other Infiniti regardless of model or year as they all have the same offset and bolt pattern. This is also true for same year Maximas (I have a 2000 Max SE and a 95 Q45T and the wheels are interchangeable). Easiest way to find you answer is to find out the largest rims available for the current Q45 and they should fit your car fine.

But not all Nissan wheels are strong enough for a heavy car like the Q45. Spin any wheel for balance (without a tire) and check run-out performance. Even Q45 non-forged wheels are susceptible to be out of specification after 60K.

Non-forged large wheels only add unsprung mass and actually decrease performance. Chroming reduces their life and actually voids the warranty on factory Nissan wheels.
