1990 pontiac sunbird
now my car is idling rough, and it surges in park at idle as well. i already replaced the idle air control vaulve. and if anyone knows what an m/c selenoid is please inform me. thanks

Are you sure you got the IAC real tight. If it doesn't have a tight seal the idle will surge.

Check your hose going to it, sometimes the hose from pressure and age crack the hose, and the car runs bad.
