Auxillary fuse block
Do you have so many things attached to your battery that the nut is barely threaded on? Is it all in a big wiring mess loaded with inline fuses? I did, and here's what I did about it. This baby sat in my toolbox for about 4 months, but it was a decent day today, so I wired it in.
I left my fog and driving lights attached directly to the battery, along with my amplifier wire, since those items require huge draw and are likely to all be on at the same time. Then, I ran a short 10 guage power lead off the battery to the fuse block. This way I still had 4 things wired directly to the battery, but that's 3 less than I had. I ran my backup lights, rear foglight, air horns, and trailer charging line into the new fuse block. Anyhow, I think this was a worthwhile addition to clean up some of the wiring mess. I think that's the last thing I will be able to attach to the bracket around the power steering reservoir though!

I've got the same fuse box but I ran mine around to the back along the firewall to the empty spot in front of the driver. I'll post pics of it someday.
Anyway its a way to clean up the rats nest by running some longer wires. The main wire going back there is 6ga with 80amp AMI fuse so that I can use the terminal on the back firwall for my power source instead of the battery.

I had the same problem except my birds nest was inside the X. So I ran an 8 guage lead (w/ 60 amp fuse) into the cabin and wired all my interior tech gizmos into the lead via an unfused distribution block. Then each gizmo is fused inline. One thing I can't stand is a bunch of wires run all over the place.... what a mess............
Anyways... Looks good Chuck!!!

Yeah, I'll probably put one inside too. Infact, I originally bought this fuse block to put inside, but then I added all the lights and needed to remove things from my terminal connection. Anywya, I have a couple thigs like my XM tuner that are plugged in with existing fuses inside. I used the add-on fuse holders so they're not TOO bad, but it would be better to have an extra block. I'll probably upgrade my main supply line to heavier wire too; certainly if I add anything else to the block. Just didn't have any here on Sunday. I just can't seem to stop adding electrical stuff to my truck!
