Where to buy a K&N
Hey guys, I am going to order a K&N FIPK for the 93 VR4...I'll likely have to keep it...anyway, where can I order one? I can't even find it on K&N's site!

I'd go Thourun's route or get an ls6 MAFT if I were doing it all over again. Thourun's K&N for the price, or ls6 MAFT for $400 if performance is most important. In retrospect I'm kicking myself for paying $170 for the FIPK.

ls6 MAFT?? Haven't heard of that. But still, $400 compared to $160? That's a pretty big jump. I would go with the filter but I'm looking to get to around 365ish hp when I'm done with the repairs, bov, intake, and mbc.

ls6 maft isn't just an intake filter. It maybe a bit more than you want. It is a filter, the MAF from the zo6, and the maf translator which is a sort of tuning device that allows you to tune for which injectors you have. If you do a search, you can find quite a bit on it. But like I said, it isn't simply a filter.

Your probably selling the car right? Just get the one I linked you to, cheep and good, FIPK is a rip off in my opinion.

If I get a good offer I will sell the car. If not I'm keeping it. That's why the FIPK sounds good, for more hp. I was thinking HKS but it's just too expensive.

What are the dimensions of the FIPK? Lets do a comparison, we'll need the surface area and the diamiter of the hole.

I honestly think Thourun's filter is bigger than an FIPK...and cheaper. So if you are going for a filter, go with that.

its bigger than that... and nothing is illegal about it... its just whast its called... well i think its illegal in california...
it goes all the way to the wall like yours but its alot wider it aint round like yours.
