...yeah so i jus got married, bring UP my wife, to OUR new apartment we jus got, parked OUR car in OUR parkin garage..

came this morning to check on it....come to arrive to a car wit a smashed IN drivers side wiNDOW!!!!....

i know , i know i'm the ONLY one this has happened to...OR the first...but its the FIRST time something of this nature has happenned to me...


what do i do? what can i do?
thought of reportin it to the police, but whats jake gon do? nothing....so thats jus pointless...

Get a good alarm with a remote and glass sensors. Ignition kill switch, don't leave valuables in there, take off the cd player faceplate when you park it (and don't just hide it in your car)...there are a million things you can do. Try looking around H-T, they always have people getting their cars stolen and broken into over there, and I'm sure there are tons of threads that will help you out on ideas.

1. what is H-T ? how to's? if so i'm there....

2. I haven't bothered to report it to the Jakes(po-nine, aka cops) cuz i dont' really see the point in it..aka what are they REALLLY gon do.... right? they not gon do nothing..

3. how does ONE deal wit the ANGER...yo dont' OUT on me on this..but main am I burnin to jus go n smash every other car window in that b*tch jus cuz mine's got done like that n NO one else's did... how do i get over that?

Sorry H-T is Honda-Tech.com. They definently have tons of how-tos on there for almost anything you can think of and more.

I agree that if you don't have glass insurance it's probably not worth it to call the cops. Though if it happens again, you'd have a police report already; and it'd be more ammo against the theives if they caught them.

Honestly I don't know how to get over it. I've never had anyone actually break into my car. But I've had them try. They broke my door handle (it was winter and it was frozen so it just broke), and they got into my rents van and destroyed the ignition trying to steal it until my mom saw them and scared them away (not a cool thing to happen at 12am when you have to be to work at 4am the morning after thanksgiving). I've personally never gotten over it myself. Every time I hear a car slow down or come down the street late at night, I jump out of bed and look out my window. I've even got a big 15/16ths wrench sitting by my bed incase someone trys anything. I'll just say that this is not the way to be, living in fear blows and is a waste of time.

I defiantly now how you feel. I was car jacked at gun point 2 years ago, but they caught the guy and he is serving 18 years in prison now, but not before he did over $8,000 in damage (high speed chase on the news and everything). I have had my car broken into 6 times and had over $7,000 in audio equipment stolen. I haven't even replaced it since the last time; I've been riding around with no tunes for 6 months. The only satisfaction that I got out of all those times was when a group of 4 guys broke in to my car at my friend’s house and I heard them. I ran outside and they drove off leaving one guy behind. Let's just say that me and my boys had a lot of fun with him. But you never really get over the feeling; I still look over my shoulder every time I walk out to my car. Thieves suck! Anyways I thought I'd share my story with you, hopefully it will make you feel better knowing it happens to everyone
