Double-Oh-so-not-moving

In a traffic jam Friday due to a road closing, creeping along slowly on a two-laner and the traffic coming the other way just as slow, saw an Aston-Martin DB5 or DB6 (think James Bond). Very nice car in apparently very nice condition; couldn't have been much fun driving in the traffic jam.

Very nice...never seen an AM before, but then again there's nothing too great around me.

I live in a wealthy suburb of Minneapolis, and I've seen 4 AM's since the summer of 2004. 1 was a Vanquish, silver of course. The others were DB8's. One of which was parked at the hardware store! The other two I saw as they passed me on the street. 3 of the 4 were silver, the 4th was black. Nice to see in pictures, awesome to see and hear for real.

Those are the old Astons from the '60s, no? If so, congratulations on the nice find

Come to think of it, any AM is a nice car sighting!

Yeah, 1963-1970, about 2500 made overall including 140 "shooting brake" wagon conversions.

Any sorry -- no pics. I recently crushed my digital camera, need to by a new one.
