SCT chip

For those of you wondering about this new SCT chip I just had one put in and its pretty impressive. The local mustang club im in had an SCT dealer come into town and tune about 20 cars. I was a little concerned about the whole process myself because as most of you know Im running a 93 computer with a PIH kit. So just in case I bought my stock computer with me. After talking to the rep he said he could tune either one but he recommended sticking with the A9L because he felt it was a better computer.

The Chip did a great job of smoothing out idle and acceleration. I gained about 18-20 hp. I've got four different tunes 2 for street and 2 for nitrous. Good mod but one I would definately do last. Cost of the chip was $350. plus $100 for the tune.

Not a huge gain in power for the money spent but definately a worth while mod.
