1990 Honda Civic Si Multi Port Fuel Injected Intake Manifold.

Is $37 + $14 shipping a good price for 1990 Honda civic SI Multi-Port fuel injected intake manifold?

it all depends if you are getting a complete intake manifold with all the sensors and the fuel rail and injectors and throttle body....

intake

Cool, is it that hard to swap the duel with the multi?

And can you feel the difference?

Is getting a new ECU worth it?

its not that hard if you know what your doing....but the only problem that i ran into was code 9 (number 1 cylinder postion) but i solve the problem by picking up another si distributor from my friend for $20.....

yes i can feel the difference...and if you want to feel a bigger difference try adding a 90-91 acura interga LS throttle body on....cause thats what i did on my intake manifold....

you would need a 88-91 civic si ECU when converting your car to MPFI....

Yeah, you'll need the dizzy, the ecu and of course the injectors, tps and all of the stuff on the intake, its a good swap i've done it on two of mine, the hard part is you have to re-wire the harness and add a few wires for the injectors and distributer, dont worry, if you have an import shop or somthin it shouldnt cost too much to have that done for you if you dont want to try.

Re: 1990 Honda Civic Si Multi Port Fuel Injected Intake Manifold.

i thought all u had to do was throw a couple more wires in an change a couple wires in the ecu from a7 an a3 or something like that an put a resistor from the ecu then its goes to the injectors?? i dont think u need a si ecu to swap the dual point to multi point?? or do u?

Hey,
I just blew the engine in my car last weekend, so I'm parting it out.
One of the things I have had the last year and a half is the mpfi swap.
It runs great and was the best mod I have done to my car, much more power.
As long as you have all the parts and can follow directions its very easy to install.
I am selling all the mpfi stuff you need for your swap for $300, or I will part it out if nobody wants to buy the whole thing.
If nobody here wants it then its going on auction on ebay.
I will be posting all the parts I'm selling including this tonight in the classifieds section.

Re: 1990 Honda Civic Si Multi Port Fuel Injected Intake Manifold.

yeah you're gonna need an si ecu, the pm6 is great if you can get ahold of one, its not many wires, an si harness under the hood will make it much easier then just add the few to the ecu harness and you're good, civickiller pretty much listed it
