After much searching I found my 405 during a search and found it to be called the 405 Mi 16. There were three versions of it ranging from 150 to 220hp and having front wheel or all wheel drive. This was a GREAT looking car for its day and it still looks good even today if you can get into small cars.

The Peugeot 405 Mi16 sold in the US did not have a turbocharger. None of the 405s sold in the US did.

One of my neighbors have a 405 break ST, and yes itīs very popular around and it seems a lot of people like them still, personally I found the styling to be too impersonal, contrary to the more improved 406 and not to say the upcoming greatly 407.

I donīt know, I guess we have to wait a bit longer, anywise I saw a photoshop for the 407 and it looked to me like a 307 with trunk and oubviously larger, Iīll try to scan the pic soon, maybe you can get some from the internet too. I havenīt tried that yet

This is my Mi16 Lemans...

The initial version of the Mi16 had a 1.9 all alloy block and produced 160bhp. A 4x4 version was also introduced.. the mi4x4

The version in the photo is my own "Lemans" Mi16.. the later model which had a 2.0 iron block that produced 155bhp.

A T16 version was available in france and germany.. i think... and this produced 196bhp. (and was 4wd)

Re: Re: O where O where is my 405?

Jimster : the 407 will be sold as April 2004. In Italy and rest of Europe, certainly in June. Prices : between 20 000 and 35 000 €.
1.8, 2.0, 3.0V6 in gas.
1.6Hdi 110 and 2.0Hdi 136 in diesel.
The V6 Hdi 200hp will be available in mid 2005.

Look in my signature, there's a pic of the 407. I've seen some in Paris near the headquarters of PSA (Avenue de la Grande Armée) : awesome, I want one !!!

I have the 4*4 version - 160bhp from 1.9 litres originally. There's also the 150BHP version that the Americans got, and a 155bhp 2.0L version. There's also a 405 T16 which is a turbocharged version putting out 196bhp or 220bhp on overboast, it also has 4wd. The 4*4 sticks to the road like glue.
