87-90 A/C Relay Location

I am having trouble locating the A/C relay on my 87 with 4.0 and auto. The HAYNES manual says it is located under the dash/glove box next to the A/C Thermostat switch. I found the thermo & blower resistors, but no A/C relay. Any suggestions on where to look??
