Thinking of buying a Passat!
Ok, after reading on here a lot about the Passat it seems there are a lot of problems with all of them. There does not seem to be much talk about people having good luck with them. Only negative stuff. Are htese cars a good car or not. I am thinking about an '02 or '03. Either the 1.8T or V6. Is there any good info about them or should I just stay away. My wife really likes them and I think they are pretty nice to, but I have a new baby girl and I don't want this car breaking down all the time. Thanks for any info you can give.

Buy an 03 or newer, it has a warranty.
