Re: dipstick location

A better idea, tell your friend to read the owners manual which should have come with the truck. There is so much info in there that they should know, not just the dipstick location.

If you know a little more about cars than they do you can show them what's what under the hood. It should only take about 10 - 20 min

Re: dipstick location

yeah you really cant miss it, unless you have manual tranny and looking for tranny dipstick. then you will miss it for there isnt one. but if your friend would read the owners manual theyll figure it out.

Talking Re: dipstick location

Don't forget to check the brake compressor oil too, you don't want those brakes to run out of air suddenly.... lol

Re: dipstick location

yeah, they put air breaks on big trucks and small imports, notice that they make the same sound at oppisit times? when a truck stops it goes pshh, when a talon takes off really quickly and it shift gears it goes pshh, they should get their breaks looked at, or quit hitting them when they are accelerating...
