VATS Problems

I am having some problems with my security system and have decided to just get a bypass because i am going to be gettting a remote start system and have the bypass module but i cannot find the vats wires i have tried a few internet sources telling the color of the wires but the wires i found were not the right ones. Does anyone know the true color of the wires.

I don't know the colors but
When you remove the steering column cover you should see a signal switch connector. ( long flat plastic bit with multiple wires connected to it )
The pass key wire connectors are number 16 and 17.

Good for 1996

Re: VATS Problems

Actually, you should see a small orange ribbon cable/wire looking thing comming out of the colum. If you follow it from about 12" away from where it comes out of the colum, you'll see a 2 prong connector. There, you'll see 2 tiny white wires on one side of the connector and it changes to thicker, colored wires on the other side. Guarenteed you'll find it.
