454 in trans am?

What measures would have to be taken to place a 454 engine in a 2000 or newer trans am?

it is possible would requier a modified k member and probably al lot of other stuff the best way to do this would be to take very acurate measurements o fthe new motor/trans and them your car an you might have a good idea of what youll have to do

it can be done with some modifications. but whats wrong with the LS1?

your best bet is to leave it alone OBD III is come in a couple of years and if it is not factory it will not be allowed on the street. The engine in it is good enough for that car if you want something to do that with get an older one like a 69 or 70
