Removal of Needles from 88 ' DX
Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the needles from the Speedomer and Temp/Fuel gauges with out breaking them on a 88 DX civic ? I already broke off the Fuel

No, once you pull out the needles your screwed. It will have to be recalibrated by honda, and would probably charge you an arm and a leg.

Recalibrated? that sucks. I wonder if filling up my gas tank and then put the needle back on somehow on full would work?

haha, thats a BIG NEGATIVE.........once you pull out the needles its DEAD....either pay out you ass to recalibrate it or try to find another one in a junk yard or pay $700 for a brand new one
