I like Night of the Living Dead and Dawn of the Dead. Day of the Dead just didn't do it for me like most of the other people who are fans. I don't know about this movie, it looks like it could be good but it also looks like it could take a huge nose dive. What do you guys think? I'm probably going to see it when it comes out no matter what but I'm curious as to see how he pulls this one off.

Looks like a lame 'next-gen zombie' flick. What with the futuristic gang of rogues fighting zombies thing. The great thing about the original trilogy is they showed ordinary people trying to survive, not these trained fighters with enough firepower (apparently) to kill 30 million zombies.

I'll still see it.. I'm just not getting my hopes up

Why bother? Wait for the rentals to show, save a few bucks, then ya can turn it off at your pleasure and return it. Or tape/burn the stupid thing, if ya have the prog.

Guys, i seen this yesterday.........honestly, it sucked.

I am a big fan of HORROR movies, basically anything that can instill horror in the viewer, this movie DID NOTHING. Last years Dawn of The Dead was actually pretty good, MUCH better then this movie.

Basically the zombie's weren't "zombie" enough, they also had feelings....which was retarded, AND they can now shoot guns. The storyline sucked, it was more so focused on dennis hopper then it was on the zombies.

In short, the movie starts and then ends...nothing good in between.

If you do want to see it, go before like 5pm so you get charged less, i only paid $6.50..

That's so dissapointing. I liked the remake of Dawn of the Dead too, so we must be on the same page...

I'm going to see it anyways.

But as far as all time gore/horror flicks go...

Sam Raimi's Evil Dead's,
George A. Romero's trilogy,
Dead Alive (aka by a bunch of other names)
Basket case (same thing)

Peter Jackson's Bad Taste was also a great gore fest. I think thats all I'm hoping to see in the new Land of the Dead.
