you sure it not from the valve cover gasket? I just replaced my valve cover gasket and all the gromets and the little rings that go around the spark plug stems fell apart when i took em off and thats why i had oil in 3 of mine. I got a couple pics of the valve cover and the head acctually, just gotta email em from my phone.

It's pretty simple to replace the seals. You should also replace the valve cover gasket since the valve cover needs to be removed.

Remove the valve cover nuts
Pry out old seals
Install new ones, use a little oil on them if they fight you going in
Lay new valve cover gasket in the valve cover AND MAKE SURE to put a dab of liquid gasket at the 4 corners at the cam cut outs. They are usually square on the gasket.

If it still leaks there are another set of seals down in the head, the spark plug tubes are halves with the seal in the middle. This a bit more complicated since the rocker assy. needs to be removed followed by a valve adjustment.

Nothing like spending $60.00 on a factory manual www.helminc.com that has every thing you need to know unlike a Shitlons or Haynes toliet paper book.

Hey, do you always replace those seals evertime you take off the valve cover or is it alright to put the cover back on with the original seals?

No you don't have to replace them every time, but if they are old it's wise to replace them. That way you only need to take it apart once.
