Head Gasket

What are the common symptoms of having a head gasket leak? I might have one,but not really sure.

engine over heating. water in oil looks milky, white smoke comming from exhaust after engine has warmed up. Poor engine performance although sometimes may not notice. coolant level droping out of coollant tank.
