Basic tune up

I just got my 2001 explorer sport with the 4.0. about 3 monthes ago. It has about 67000 miles and runs pretty well. I would like to do a basic tune up and would greatly appreciate any advice. I'm going to do the basics, plugs, wires, dis cap, pcv, fuel filter. Any suggestions on what else I should do for the tune up. Also is there anything I can do to improve my horsepower a little with out robbing from my gas millage.
All replies will be welcomed. Thanks

Re: Basic tune up

Change the air filter also and don't use Bosch platinum plugs because the foul easily. You could try some kind of cat back exhaust system and a cold air intake from KN filters. THat would boost power and probably give you better gas mileage.

Re: Basic tune up

If the truck is running well, all I would do
is change oil, air filter. and trans fluid.
Change the serpintine belt.
Don't waste youe money on plugs, or wires.
ect, for another 50,000 miles.
