Looking for opinions on the oils for high milage cars...

I have two high milage cars, a 96 Grand Am GT with 120,000 miles & a 98 Montana with 130,000 miles. I am curious as to what everyone thinks about the oils made for the high mile vehicles. Please reply with your opinions, would you use them in your own cars?

use valvoline oil only it is the best oil made just use 10w40 with 1 quart of sae50 racing in every oil change and you should have no problems that is how i do my car and it has 194,000 miles on it and it has been good for it what it does is gives you better oil pressure with the thicker oil so if i was you thats what i would do

Castrol syntec.

Yeah its really expensive and yeah it sux when it cost you $30 to change your own oil. But the stuff actually coats the internals of your engine. I know because I've torn a few down with and without syntec. The cheap stuff sits in the pan while the syntec does its job. Really important when your motor first fires.

Ive been using Mobil 1 synthetic since it was first released and feel it is one of the best oil's for the money on the market.Hell,if it's good enough for GM to use in the Vettes or it's warranty will be denied it's gota be good.I buy mine in a 5 qt jug from walmart for just under 20 buck's.
