bmw not running well

New to the forum..need help as to what might be the problem with my bmw. its a 92' 325i, about 137k miles. the car is idling hard, firing out the back muffler when i give it gas..muffler is fine.. and when i give it gas its coming out of 1st or 2nd gear its not taking right away, almost like a jack rabbiting effect. The car stalls everyonce in a while when warmed up from parked position, but starts fine first thing in the morning. brought it to a "mechanic", and he changed spark plugs, then thought it might be fuel injectors, they did not need to be changed but he cleaned them. mechanic calls me a couple of days ago and says i give up do not know whats wrong. trying to avoid expense of bmw dealership here and in the process of trying to find qualified mechanic. in the mean time any thoughts on whats wrong...????..

Re: bmw not running well

Ok . . . I have the same problem as you kinda . . . I get the starts fine but when it warms up it starts to stall . . .

Check your coils first . . http://www.maxbimmer.com/forums/show...ighlight=coils

Then check your ICV . . http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...d.php?t=322651

I just took out my ICV . . it's a little tough, but I did it
