You probably wont hear a difference unless you were standing directly behind it. The resonator delete tips are more for eye candy than anything else. What these will do is in a way amplify the exhaust noise by letting the gasses expand then slightly compress as they leave the opening, but unless your exhaust is loud to begin with, these will have little or no impact on the actual sound leaving the pipes. If you like the looks, get them, but if your looking for sound, think further under the car first.
On the other hand, the resonator tips, MAY give you that sound your looking for, PROVIDED the rest of the system is the same as what is on the Marauder. My F350 Dually has a 5" straight back exhaust and the muffler is like a glas pack as in the baffle was removed, and it is not as loud as one would think, but it has a very nice rumble when going down the highway. If I were to do anything to increse the exhaust sound, I would start from the converters back with a system designed for both performance and sound. That would include larger pipes, free flow mufflers and of course the resonating tips, that would give me the true sound that I think you are looking for. In either case try it and lets us know if it makes any difference that you can notice it the seat. |
