Question Easy way to do spark plugs on a L98??

Any easy way to do 3rd gen 350 (L98) spark plugs? Should I take something out or try to fit through the tiny cracks with a ratchet? I'm really dreading doing this, i've been putting it off since summer. It just looks like a pain in the a**.

Only easy way would be if you pulled the engine changed them and put it back(this is a joke). A side winder wratchet, multi sized extention and a jointed extention and you will not have too a hard of a time. Good Luck.

Well I used to have to change three plugs from the top, and the rest from under the car. If your state doesn't have emission laws that are strict get rid of the AIR injection system.

Im in NY, the only state more strict is Cali....but I can get inspected as long as I have cats pretty much. Which three did you do from the top?? and how would I fill the holes left from taking out the AIR? just put some welds in there? and what advantages come from that?

# 1,3 and #2 if you have small hands possibly #4. To plug the holes your local car part dealer has plugs that should bolt in place. You also need to plug off the pipe that goes to the cats. I know there is a free wheel pulley that goes in the place of the AIR pump. Its a lot of work but the less devices your engine turns the more power you get back. Search the net for the free wheel pulley.

Plugs aren't fun but not too bad. I usually use a ratchet & socket and get 1 2 3 4 from the top 5 6 7 8 from the bottom.
