news about rear speakers

I bought this 2000 gtp, great car, except for rears speakers that worked if it was warm enough and living near Montréal, no rear speakers from octobre to may. I read all messages on this forum and it seemed lots of people have this problem and all i could find out was maybe a loose wire or this or that. I replaced the rear speakers with 6 by 9 inches alpine speakers that fit exactly and they work great no more problems. Its the speakers that are defective. nothing else i am sure. When i took the speakers out i had never seen such cheap things so i changed the front ones with alpine as well. Now i have a great stereo system. Taking them out was very easy.

Do you have the Bose system or the standard? Alpine stuff is awesome.
