The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute (officially released)
Wow. It hasn't been officially released yet, but I have heard it. And it is spectacular. Everyone be on the lookout for this album when it's released in February, it is going to be huge.
EDIT: Well, it's finally been released in the States. I encourage all fans, new and old, to buy it. Hell, it's only like six bucks. Best investment you'll ever make.

maaaaaaan, if i wasn't so poor i'd go out and buy it.
like right now, i'm dead broke and this is my month coming up: i need money for merch for 4 concerts. yes, 4. Taste of Chaos tour (march 4th), Death From Above 1979 (march 8th), Epitaph Tour (march 10th), and the Taking Back Sunday/Jimmy Eat World Tour (april 12th). i have to pay for my march break trip to Quebec, March 11/12/13. i need spending money for my trip to Ireland March 19-27. my dad's birthday is March 9th. my mom's birthday is April 12th. so after april, i will REALLY be broke. it's taking all my will power right now not to dip into the car fund...but i MUSN'T!

Cassandra Gemini by far (even if it wasn't as long as it was). I just hate how fucking Universal split the song up. Now when I play it on my iPod, there's a fucking 1 second gap that screws up the flow of the song. Hate it.
Has anyone heard the decoder track? The lyrics are on the back of the disc inlay, but they didn't include the on song on the CD. They did on the Japanese version though, which sucks. If you want to snag it, mumblemuPMlemumble.
