Re: Voyager 95 : How to remove the winshield wipers???
You have to remove the 'fork'. The fork provides spring tension to hold the link and arm together.
Slide the spring clip (fork) out of the groove in the link. Don't pull up on the spring clip.

Not working, I have removed the fork... but the wiper arm dosent want to be removed... I need a clue... Please tell me what part can be disasembled: I think that I need to force the arm by pulling up the arm! But it's a 1995, I think that the Pivot and arm are like soldered because of the corosion and time. Ive put Some WD40.. try to pull with an Hammer with no succes... LOOK AT THE picture you will see how it's look and give me a clue... By the way, i found the problem of my right wiper : The pivot is broken... The interior arms are ok... Motor is ok.... Thanks, PS ive bought the Chilston Voyager repair book |

If somebody ever try to remove the wiper arm please post me the solution: I am not a mechanican, I know nothing about cars...
The only thing I know its that the garage charge me up to 400$ to repair that and only the f****g Pivot is broken : Total value : 9.99$ So if you want to make me happy, if you know something a little bit about wipers... Tell me... If you use a special tool to force the wiper or that youv called Hulk Hogan to remove it... please tell me... thanks again... Simon

i think iam doing something wrong: i am briking the pivot right now according to the picture: ( The arm head seems to be clipped with a round thing on the pivot) What i was trying was to remove it pulling up the middle of the pivot part... Hope that this will help you you to save me... |

Try hinging the wiper up from the windshield. then lift off pivot. Take a close look, there's probably a clip there holding it somewhere.

Hey man, I have a 92 Caravan, Im sure the wipers are the same. To remove the arms, you need to pull out the "lock clip" at the pivot area. It just slides out and is spring loaded. A wide head flat screwdriver will pry it out. Once you have this lock out, then grab the wiper arm lifting it up as far as it will go and "wiggling " it or rocking it back and forth. If it still wont let go, get a piece of 1/4 - 3/8 thick plywood about 8"x 12". Place it close to the base of the wiper arm opposite to the length of the wiper arm. Now, while lifting up on the wiper arm, place a pry bar (flat screwdriver wont work, need the angle) on the opposite side of the arm and pull up on the arm and pry at the same time. Gently rock back and forth. This should pop it off. Make sure the lock clip doesnt slide back in. Once the arm is off, inspect it. If the splines inside the cup are damamged, replace the arm. ( Canadian Tire , pretty cheap) Apply anti-seize compound before replacing. Good luck!
