Quick Question

Hey-

I just had a real quick question... I owned an 86 rx7 non-turbo two years ago, and i was forced to sell it....

now, i'd like to get another one, because i rember how fun it was

so my question is this... can somebody give me a quick rundown on the different model names for the second gens? I mean, for example, the mitsubishi eclipse comes in RS (N/T, FWD), GS (N/T, FWD), GST (Turbo, FWD), and GSX (Turbo, AWD). can anybody give me a real quick version of that for second gen rx-7s?

thanks in advance.

Re: Quick Question

hey i am not trying on hate on the base model or N/A!! I love those fuckers!!!!! and i have one . in fact i love all of them, but what i try to say is that the Base model is the lowest and the T2 is the best in the 2nd gen's.

I dont think there is a such thing as a gay RX-7, unless its pink...and if you want a stock gen 2 my advice would be to go with a GXL.

actualy
a base 86 w/ T2 engine, drvetrain and brake/wheel setup would be more performant than a plain T2

Re: Quick Question

weight is the root of all evil
a lighter chassis will have a better braking distance, better acceleration, suspension will be more efficient and the lateral Gs number will be highter. light = quick

Re: Quick Question

thats why a 2700lb TII with 200hp can run with a 3500lb Z28 with 260hp...

and why my TII can beat my friends modded WRX

except he is about to put $1200 into it to mess with the ECU and mill it out and stuff so I'm not sure how much that will gain him haha
