Trunk lock cylinder replacement
I have a 1992 Escort and it's trunk lock (whole set with a key) needs to be replaced...
Do you know any good stores online who would also be willing to ship abroad...all the way to Finland. I have only find a place which would sell a set for all the locks...It's a pricy option...>240 $.... |

Re: Trunk lock cylinder replacement
The planet is absolutely littered with ford escorts in one variation or another (the first so called "world car"). I coudn't imagine the U.S. being the only place to get a trunk lock. A lock cylinder is a fairly "universal" part as far as interchangeability between ford products. You might try a salvage yard for the part and have a locksmith re-key it for ya'. Just a suggestion, I could be completely wrong of course, it just seems like there would be a lot of 'scort parts across the pond.
