no start

i have a 90 eclipse AWD 5sp. the other day i got out of my car and let my turbo timer run out and when i came back she wouldn't crank. all the gauge lights came on and then when you went to crank, it wouldn't and when you would let the key back to the on position there would be no dash lights just a faint little glim from the ebrake light. and then there was a clicking under the dash by the fuse box. we tried push starting it but that won't work. i tested at the computer to see if it was getting power but it wasn't . also now the MPI relay under the radio clicks and i don't think my fuel pump is running. i replaced the starter but it still didn't work but then one day i went out and tried to start it in the cold and it fired right up. but now its not running at all. all i hear nknow is a click from under the left side dash and from the MPI relay. and that only happens once in awhile most of the time nothing happens no noise nothing the lights on the gauge cluster just go out. it seems like a short. has anyone had this happen? thanks for any help offered
