Can you Identify this part?

There are two devices attached to my exhaust manifold labled 1) and 2) can anyone tell me what these are and what they do?

1) Is the AIV valve. It injects air into the exhaust to keep the cat lit. You can take it apart and clean it with carb cleaner, if you are careful not to damage the reed valves. If you're running a JWT ecu, it can be removed.

2)Is the little airbox and breather that leads to the AIV. Behind it is the oil separator.
