Its the end of the line for MG Rover.
This past week has been a pretty wild ride for the MG Rover Group this week. First there were fears that the crucial SAIC deal was off and then production was haulted on Thursday due to suppliers pulling out due to the companies financial state. Now MG Rover are in adminastration and talks with SAIC have indeed failed, 6,000 people who work at the Longbridge plant face losing their jobs. The prime minister has even stepped in(due to being near election time, lol) to restart talks with the Chinese and a government loan may be on the table too. The talk coming from the administrators is that there is very little of value left at Rover and that this is the end of the MG Rover era.
Its a very sad end to the last major independant British manufacturer.

And just like that Rover and MG were pronounced dead a matter of hours ago.
R.I.P. MG-Rover.
