Question Loose handling

Hello Fellow Trooper owners!

I have a quick question about the front end of my 2000 Trooper. When sitting in the drivers seat the steering wheel is off center to the left and seem to have a lot of play. Also the truck seem to ride the contour of the road ( pulls hard left and right depending on which side of the road I am on ). Is this normal or is there something I can do to stiffen the steering and handling?
Thanks for all the HELP!
