94 Camaro v-6 to LT1 Conversion - Tranny Question

I'm hoping someone can help. I am working to swap out my v-6 with an LT1 350 - I'm wondering if the 4l60e tranny that's currently in the car will bolt up fine to the lt1 - has anyone ever done this? I was told by a few different people to swap the tranny too but I just had this rebuilt like 20,000 miles ago & it's pretty strong. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I was also told that if it doesn't bolt up there is probably an adapter I can buy. The lt1 is from a 95 buick roadmaster by the way.

Thanks!

If it does bolt up which I'd doubt, I bet you'd get 20 feet before you tore it to shreds with that high output engine. :/ my 0.02$

Yes they have Iron heads and no it will not bolt up. You need a LT1 4L60-E tranny, check out www.car-parts.com . Good Luck.

or as i tell everyone, check ebay. you'll probably find one at a good price, plus you can sell yours there too if you'd like.

hey winning aint cheating, its what i like to call spray turbo, or instant supercharge lol. your gain with that stuff is unlimited, its just how much can your car/engine can handle. if u build properly before u spray your car it will be nothing like roids on a human body your engine will handle it just fine, just remember everything breaks in due time.
