gas mileage

I have a 96 Infiniti I30. I am getting 200 miles to a tank of gas. It that normal? If not, what could be causing abnormal gas consumption? I drive 60 miles a day two four days a week. Most of my driving is highway miles. I have 147K on odometer. Any/all suggestions are welcomed.

High time for tuneup. When all is ok, highway is around 30mpg at 60mph. Worst city might be like that... Btw. Filling stations might use mafia rigged gauges: u dont get what u pay...

- Coilpacks cracked: clean, insulate with electronics lacquer or replace 100$ ea.

- Knock Sensor bad: retards ign. Check KS test and/or bypass:

- Check all sensors, change filters, plugs.

- Still 'some':

I also have an infiniti I-30 with 224,000 miles and I get about 390 miles per tank. I use only premimum gas, change the oil and rotate the tires regularly. It also helped when I installed a K & N air filter.
