Im thinking of buying a 02 RSX...Need some help
Well I am thinking of buying a RSX, but I only have the funds to get a 02 base model. I was wondering what are the least expensive mods I could add to this to put it up with the Type-s ?? Thanks ahead!

The only way your going to get the base up to speed with the type s with the k20a3 engine is through FI. Theres no way around it, the good news about it is the k20a3 is a great motor for turbo applications. They can make a little over 300hp on stock internals.

Yeah, it'll be a lot of mods to get up to speed with a Type S if you go naturally asprirated. Get a manual base and FI.

Forced induction - turbocharging, supercharging, and nitrous. In this case turbo might be the best out of the three but if you do decide to choose something like this i'd do a lot of research.

FI can also mean fuel injection. I keep getting those terms so confused when I read posts! But yeah, turbo would probably be better than nitrous. I still would hesitate to put a turbo on there though. Just be happy that you have an '02 base model. If not, then the amount of $$ you're going to dump into the base to get decent performance will probably end up costing you more than if you bought a TypeS from the start. Weigh those two options and make your decision. Nitrous might be a cheap way to go, but if you're not careful, you might end up messing up your internals and then you'll be left with a large repair bill. My
