UPDATE
i just got off the phone with b&m, and the guy told me that it comes with a round silver (either chrome or polished alum. - not sure) shift knob and the throw is reduced by 40%. that means that if the original throw is 6 inches, it is reduced to 3.6 inches. just wanted to clarify...

Is there a difference between the Stillen short shift and the B&M?
How hard is it to install a short shifter? and do I need to also change to a racing clutch? Also, does anyone know whether or not Nismo makes a 5 speed shifter, possibly aluminum looking? Looking to replace stock and the shifter all at once. If someone can let me know, that would be great!! its for an '02 P11. Really appreciate everyone's help. |
