Hmm all hooked up hunh? There is also a knock sensor at the back of the block that must be hooked up otherwise vtec will not activate. Looking at the engine it is on the far left side under the intake manifold. I believe it is a green plug.
There are 2 wires.
Wire the black one to the chasis ground and the other one to pin B19.

After that your all ready to go. And yes, you will notice a difference when vtec is activated. You will be able to feel it.

Do you have the second o2 sensor hooked up also?>

Re: b16 swap vtec question

the 2 o2 sensors should be right by the exhaust manifold, by the engine code stamp!!!

For the o2 sensor you have 2 options.
1.Splice them both together and run them to the stock single o2 sensor on your wiring harness
2. (Best way) Run the second o2 sensor to pin C8

You will need to hook up the knock sensor also. If you need i can take another pic for you.

Re: b16 swap vtec question

There has to be an o2 sensor.. Try looking behind the engine where it meets up with the CAT converter.

Wait Wait, you mean that in a junkyard by you there is a del sol Dohc vtec with the engine still in it? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grab the engine asap!!!!
