transmission

trans shifts really hard sounds like the engine is going to blow up before it shifts. fluid is okay and just changed filter whats wrong? does any body know?

Well, if it started right after changing the filter, the filter isn't seated fully at the top, and the pump can't draw enough fluid to fully pressurize the sytem. That'll make them hang and overrev. Don't drive it like that, you'll burn it out.

A common mistake on filter installation is to fail to remove the old O-ring or seal sleeve from the cavity before pushing the new filter neck up in there. That causes the filter to not seat fully, and it will drop back out, sometimes right away, sometimes down the road at some point.
