93 grand cherokee laredo won't start, URGENT!!
I just did a bunch of cleanup work on my 93 GC
The at 12 years old, some of the panels were a little loose and some wires were starting to hang below the dash. So i tightened all the screws and zip tied all the wires back into place after this the truck started up fine i decided to take off the plastic around the steering column, because the little rubber grips under the ignition had been pushed in and one of the snap connections needed to be straightened, took out three torx head screws, brought the plastic inside to clean up then went back out. I started the truck again, all was fine. then i replaced the plastic cover around the column and went back inside. later i went out and jumped in and the alarm engaged when i opened the door thought i just grabed the handle to quick before i disarmed, jumped in the drivers seat and turn the key and got nothing. the key turns to each position with almost no resistance not like the usual resistance you get when you turn the "Start" all accessorries seem to come on fine, but it makes no attempt to start. WHAT THE HELL DID I DO, I am screwed i need to go out, i need to get to work tomorrow? |

First check all the fuses and relays. Then check the connections where you had moved might have knnicked a wire loose. Someimes when the alarm sets you can reset it by unlocking the rear hatch with the Key.
