Hello

I want to buy a leganza so search for information about the quality. Is the Leganza a good car or will i have problems with it? Can anybody help me and give me some information about critical points and problems from the Leganza.

Critical points:

- brakes (wear out often)
- timing belt tensioner (causes the belt to jump and often is a cause of a major failure. It is recomended to take extra care and good second look during the procedure of replacement.)
- water pump (fails a lot. It is a cheap shi*T - if you know what I mean)
- Front axels. Go south big time.

Good site for opinions:

Bad things:

Relatively weak engine. (Not enough power to body size)
Relatively high gas consumption (I would compare it to a US made Saturn which is much better when it comes to gas efficiency)

Otherwise a great car!
Drives surprisingly good.

I would recomend it to anyone, because of a low price and reliability.
I think this is a good car. Even considering the bad sides.

I have one of them for sale.
It is 2000 Leganza 2.2 automatic with warranty until the end of 2005
37,000 miles and I ask $5000.
