Need a new turbo
Well, you may have seen questions I've had over the past 6 months or so on MR2's up here frequently and I am almost finished with my MR2 rebuild project (it didn't begin as one, but has turned in to just that) and now the final thing I want to do is to replace the turbo. I want to go with either a CT26(again) or a CT20b and try to get as much out of one of those as I can (primarily for $$ issues) and was curious if anyone knows of a website or a link that either rebuilds/refurbishes CT26s or sells new/rebuilt ct26s or ct20bs that they could provide me a link to. Once that's done my car will be complete and ready to run hard and be modded. (It will have new reinforced heads, head gasket, all new coolant system, new clutch, rebuilt transmission, new shocks, rebuilt fuel injection/pump system, and a new turbo). So, any help from anyone would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Matt

No help with turbo at all? How about any aftermarket ones for a decent price? I'm just trying to work on a budget and can't afford a multi-thousand dollar aftermarket turbo. I need something inexpensive, I'm not asking for powerful (as long as it's atleast as powerful as the stock ct26) and reliable. A warranty on it would be much liked also.

Click the photo in my signature and check out ATS Racing's CT27. Give Aaron a call, tell him I sent you.

Thanks for links to the ATS site, the CT27 and the 26 upgrades both look like very doable options for me. Also, if you could check on that .46 CT26 for me that would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for all the help guys, I'm hoping to finally have my car all finished and ready to run by the end of february now, and then the new turbo will just be icing on the cake. |
