wont go into gear while running but...

Well i recently replaced my clutch, and i had no probs with it until today. i went out and warmed my car up and realized it wont get into gear unless i throw all 260pds of my self into the shifter.. but the wierd part bout it is it goes into gear easy when i have the car off what could be the problem? i hope i dont have to tear that shit all apart again!! thanks

sounds like you need to loosen you clutch adjuster. mine did this too what happens is the fingers of the pressure plate go too far back and spin the clutch disc, the easiest way to find out is to push you clutch to the floor then pul it back up an inch or two then try putting it in to gear
