Apex'i N1 turbo is probably my favorite muffler out of the box. See about getting a pre-made catback system.. it'll save you trouble and probably some money/time... you can bolt it up yourself.

Re: apexi good or bad

it doesn't matter... it's just an apex'i system with slightly less backpressure, which makes it optimal for turbo cars. It works fine on non-turbo's, though. My friend Rebecca has one on her sol and it sounds good, especially considering that she's got a non VTEC 1.5 block. Doesn't sound like a rattlecan or anything. Nice deep tone.

Re: apexi good or bad

bigger piping = less torgue= bad idea. generally taking out resonators just makes it louder, unlesss you have no cat, and then you can get some buzz...
